A critically acclaimed novelist, Nicole’s work has been featured as a Midwest Connections book pick, nominated for a Christy Award, and earned a starred and featured review from Publishers Weekly. In 2011 she co-authored a book that debuted at #4 on the New York Times bestseller list. Nicole is also the co-founder of a non-profit organization, One Body One Hope, that partners with a sisterhood of churches and orphanages in Monrovia, Liberia. An adoption advocate and the mother of four children from four different countries, Nicole speaks on a variety of topics ranging from orphan care to parenthood to books and the writing process.

Nick is the youth and worship pastor at Tacoma Community Christian Reformed Church, and is returning to Warm Beach for a second year as one of our Life Track Speakers. With a testimony that took him from a surfer church by the beach in Puerto Rico, to the learning halls of Jewish theological seminary and back, Pastor Nick is a fervent follower of Jesus! Inspired by God’s word, he has dedicated his life and gifts to serve and build the Kingdom, with Jesus' command to love, up front and center (John 13:34-35). He loves to teach, passionately engaging audiences from all walks of life from this love-mission mindset. He also loves music. Playing the piano, guitar, bass, or drums; he is also a gifted singer, songwriter and music instructor.
